Creative director Shankar and Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 is one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema. Ever since the project started in January 2019, it has been halted in between several times due to budget issues, EVP film city accident, Kamal’s political commitments, and COVID-19 pandemic.
However, there is another issue that’s causing the delay. Apparently, the talk is that shankar and Kamal are having creative differences with regards to the film script especially few dialogues. Kamal is historically known for fingering and interfering in the script. However, Lyca is said to have settled the issues between Kamal and Shankar which is good news for the fans and the audience who are waiting for this pan-Indian film. Lyca doesn’t want the project to be shelved as they invested huge amount and 60% of the shoot has been completed.Shooting is set to resume from April of 2021 with Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Kamal Haasan will join the sets after the completion of TN elections. Shankar is hoping to complete Indian 2 quickly and move on to the much hyped biggie #RC15, which will be Ram Charan’s next after RRR. Shankar has worked on the script of RC15 during covid-19 lockdown and he has prepared everything in order to make sure that it’s a quickie.
