Court and Dilruba were released today in a clash. While Court opened with very positive word of mouth and reviews and had a good start, Dilruba opened with poor numbers and below-par reviews. With this, Court is surely set to become the box office winner unanimously. For Dilruba, the Audience must come in a large number this weekend to see a positive result.
Now, coming to the OTT digital rights, Court’s rights were bought by Netflix for a fancy amount. It will have a 4 week theatrical window period before arriving on the platform. Whereas, Dilruba’s digital rights were bagged by Aha Video and it may also stream earlier than 4 weeks theatrical window.
Kiran Abbavaram, who saw relief with his previous venture, KA, has gone back to the struggling stage. The team of Dilruba expressed big confidence, but everything fell short now.
