Over the years there have been several films that have done equally well in Telugu and Tamil and have equal craze in both industries. Out of these several movies 7/g Brindavan Colony is one. This Selvaraghavan classic has achieved cult status due to its realistic portrayal of middle-class life, young guys’ struggles, and soulful music.
For the past couple of years, there have been reports of a sequel for this film and now, the reports are getting stronger. AM Ratnam, who produced the first part will be bankrolling this one as well while Selvaraghavan will return to the direction duties. Interestingly, Ravi Krishna will play the lead yet again so this film could showcase a few years’ leap.
AM Ratnam, who is currently producing Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu will look into the sequel once he finishes his existing projects. An official announcement on the sequel is expected soon and as per the sources, the Tamil- Telugu bilingual will go on floors by this year’s second half.
