Chiyaan Vikram’s performance as Aditha Karikalan in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 won him a lot of praise. Currently, he is working on Thangalaan under the direction of PA Ranjith. Produced by KE Gnanavel’s Studio Green, Thangalaan is being made as a period film that explores the lives of individuals employed in the Kolar goldfields in the eighteenth century.
The film is carrying a massive buzz in Tamil audiences and the trade circles as well because of the director – actor combo and the backdrop. Needless to say, the film will also be released in Telugu.
