Tollywood Actor, Chiranjeevi has come forward and donated a sum of rupees 5 crores to his brother Pawan Kalyan. This was a token of gratitude for his political party, Janasena. This also happens to be Chiranjeevi’s first interaction with Janasena. He never spoke in favor or support of Janasena before.
Chiranjeevi tweeted regarding the same on his official X account saying, “Everybody says that they would help after coming to power. But Pawan Kalyan even while not having any power donated to farmers. It is something that made me happy. My brother has a heart to spend his wealth for the society. I gave a donation to his party.”
Some feel that this act by Chiranjeevi is to increase the image of Janasena and Pawan Kalyan who is about to face elections in AP. Many questioned this timing as well. It could have been good if he had refrained from politics after quitting it long back. Associating with any political party would further damage the reputation he has now. Earlier too, Chiranjeevi slipped his mouth supporting Janasena during Acharya press meets. People trolled him badly and he took back his words saying his words didn’t reflect any political intentions. He might face the same now too.
