Megastar Chiranjeevi’s one on one meeting with AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy concluded earlier today. The meeting was held over lunch in Amaravati where the duo discussed various industry issues including the G.O 35. This G.O. has been troubling Tollywood for the past many months.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Megastar revealed that the meeting was quite fruitful and that he seemed quite optimistic about the way things have conspired.
Chiranjeevi said that the CM assured him that he will re-look into the G.O 35 and will bring necessary amendments to the order. He further added that in 7-10 days the industry will receive a favorable outcome and that it was time to show some patience.
The ‘Acharya’ actor also said that people from industry must be very careful now and not make any irresponsible statements. He said that this was the time to practice a diplomatic silence and that all the issues will be soon resolved. This statement is being interpreted as directives to Pawan Kalyan and Nani who have been pretty vocal against the government.
It needs to be seen how the industry reacts to this latest development.
