Megastar Chiranjeevi was charged up during the Godfather pre-release event held on Wednesday. He appeared confident about the film and has declared openly that fans won’t be disappointed this time.
“I have a pain in my heart because of Acharya’s failure but I am promising Godfather will definitely impress you,” stated a confident Megastar. He further added that Ram Charan was the main reason for him choosing to do this film.
“Charan suggested this film to me and said it will be very suitable for my image,” revealed Chiranjeevi. Mohan Raja has directed this remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. The original starred Mohanlal and Prithviraj played a cameo. Nayantara will be seen in a key role alongside Satyadev and Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran. Salman Khan is playing an extended cameo in this project.
Godfather will release on 5th October and it has done a good pre-release business so far. The digital rights have also been picked up for Rs 57 crores by Netflix. This film will release in dubbed versions in Malayalam and Hindi as well.
