P Vasu and Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming horror film, Chandramukhi 2 is all set to be released as Vinayaka Chavithi special in the month of September. The movie has gained a good amount of craze in the trade circles, and it is doing record pre-release business.

As it is the sequel of an all-time blockbuster Chandramukhi along with the lead of the film, Raghava Lawrence, having a massive brand for horror, the movie is carrying immense craze and expected to open with big numbers in Tamil and Telugu languages. All these points are helping the film, Chandramukhi 2 to do record pre-release business.

The movie’s satellite and digital rights have already been sold for a very bigger price. The Satellite rights have been bought by Sun TV and the digital rights have been bought by the OTT giant Netflix. Now for the theatrical rights also the makers are quoting very bigger prices and the business is also expected to be closed at big prices.

The film is scheduled to be released this year on Vinayaka Chavithi in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil horror comedy Chandramukhi, which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles.

While Raghava Lawrence will reprise the role of Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut will appear in Jyotika’s place along with Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Maria, Suresh Menon, Subiksha Krishnan and many others.
