Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy which released on 12th January has received mixed talk but continuing its steady run in Telugu States. As of 1st weekend, the film has collected a share of 50Crs and the film has collect another 23Crs to achieve breakeven mark as the theatrical rights are valued for 73Crs.
The film had registered excellent nos in the USA, as more than $700k was made from the first screenings of the film in the United States. This was a record-breaking opening for a Balakrishna film.
However, some caste-based websites are trying to project it as a successful film in the USA when there’s still time for its break even. These sites have given disastrous reviews for both the Sankranti films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, but the audience slapped them by providing huge numbers at the box office for the film, and they have declared Waltair Veerayya as Sankranthi winner.
Veera Simha Reddy had dropped miserably after Premiers and they sold the movie for 4 CRS and needs to collect over 1.2M to achieve break-even status, which looks impossible at the moment.
But the caste-based websites have now decreased the breakeven value to 1M and projecting the film as a success. Indeed some sites gave low rating to Waltair Veerayya to show that Veera Simha Reddy has the upper hand.
