Box Office Blues: Custody Theatrical Business Continues to Decline

It looks like the recent movies results are fearing the buyers, and they ate not coming forward to buy movies for bigger prices. Custody movie’s Andhra [6 Territories] business had started with 12 Crores Ratio, and then it came down to 10 Crores. Now, according to the latest reports, the final business of Custody has been done in 9 Crores ratio and the same change in business numbers has happened with the other territories as well.

We cannot blame the buyers for negotiating lesser prices as we know that in the film industry, occasionally the results of a few movies will impact the result or business in the Telugu Film Industry. The same is happening with Custody, the upcoming film of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. However, the film team is busy in promoting the film and is just about one week away from its theatrical release. The film’s trailer got released yesterday and received a tremendous response.

Custody marks the director, Venkat Prabhu’s debut in the Telugu Film Industry and incidentally, it’s also the first Tamil film of Naga Chaitanya as the lead. The film also stars Arvind Swami, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, R Sarathkumar, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj, Premji, Premi Vishwanath and Ramki in the other important roles.

The film has its music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilaiyaraja. Produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, SR Kathir is handling the cinematography of Custody.
