Bollywood top director Rajkumar Hirani’s next film is confirmed after Dunki

Rajkumar Hirani is the top director in Bollywood as he became the No1 director with continuous blockbusters. Currently, he is busy with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki which is planned for this year’s Christmas release and the inside reports strongly suggest that after this film he is likely to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor for his next film. This will be his 2nd film with Ranbir Kapoor after a huge blockbuster, Sanju . The new film of Ranbir and Rajkumar Hirani is expected to go sets in 2024 and will be released in 2025.

The 2018 release, Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani was a career biggest hit for Ranbir Kapoor, as he became the only actor after Aamir Khan and Salman Khan to make an entry into the Rs 300 crore club. The actor was also praised for his impeccable representation of Sanjay Dutt on screen. Through the filming, the actor formed a connection with its director and the same reflected even during the promotions.

Ranbir Kapoor had also done a cameo in Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani’s PK. So, everyone had almost fixed that the actor director will work again for a Sequel of the movie. But in contrast to the buzz, this is not a sequel to PK, but an original script, which is Raju working on now.

Currently, Rajkumar Hirani is busy with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. As per the reports, Dunki is a social drama based on ‘Donkey Flight’, a border immigration issue. Donkey flight means the illegal method of entering a foreign country via multiple stops in other countries. It’s a popular method that thousands of youngsters follow every year after they fail to enter the target country via legitimate means.

Reports state that Dunki is a story of a Punjabi guy and his adventurous journey of immigration to Canada. Let’s see what’s in store from the much awaited combo of Indian cinema.
