This interesting news of these two superstars of Indian Cinema coming together on the big screen has taken the internet by storm. Superstar Rajinikanth is currently working on his upcoming projects – ‘Jailer’ under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar and ‘Lal Salaam’ (Cameo) which is being directed by his daughter Aishwarya. After that, he will be moving on to his next film with director TJ Gnanavel, tentatively called ‘Thalaivar 170’. According to the reports, Big B is likely to play an important role alongside Thalaivar in the film.
In the past, Superstars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were seen together in the 1991 Bollywood film, ‘Hum’. It should be noted that ‘Hum’ was the inspiration for Rajinikanth’s iconic gangster movie ‘Bhasha’. Now, the duo is back together to appear on the silver screen after 32 years. However, an official confirmation of the same is expected to be out soon.
Rajinikanth is reportedly playing a retired cop who will fight against encounter punishment in Thalaivar 170, produced by Lyca Productions. This movie is touted to be an intense drama and the shooting of the film is expected to commence in a couple of months. It is also said that action king Arjun Sarja will play the role of antagonist in the film.
