Urvashi Rautela is a popular face in Bollywood who was crowned Miss Universe in 2015. She acted in some hit movies like Sanam Re and Hate Story 4. Recently she released Virgin Bhanupriya on Zee5 and received mixed reviews.
Virgin Bhanupriya’s shooting was taken place in Hyderabad and during this time, some south Indian filmmakers approached but she didn’t find them that interesting. But a few days ago, when Sampath Nandi presented his script, Urvashi loved the story and screenplay which made her say yes to this project.
Sampath Nandi for the first time goes out of his way and tries a thriller genre. This bilingual project was tentatively titled, Black Rose and will have its simultaneous release in Telugu and Hindi. Urvashi shared a few words saying that she never thought would make a south debut during the pandemic and she felt beyond thrilled after reading the script. The shooting is in progress and might go on air by the end of this year. Should see how the Telugu audience would receive Urvashi.
