In India, cinema is not just an entertainment, it itself is life for many. That Indian cinema is struggled because of Covid-19. It’s been almost three years when people all over India spoke about cinema. Films got postponed, Shoots got cancelled, Events got rescheduled. It’s been tough for all of us. As we are fighting back to normal lives, even Indian cinema is finding it’s way to revive. A famous saying in film industry “one Friday is enough to turn our lives”, Indian film industry waited for it’s Friday. Seems like that Friday has arrived. Indian cinema has got blockbuster weekend finally.

After the second wave some industries especially Tollywood tried to bounce back and it does in some sense. There were hits like Akhanda , Pushpa. Even Mollywood and Kollywood tried to get back to normal and scheduled few films accordingly. When everything is going smooth, suddenly omicron scared us a little but it passed so fast and the damage is little.

Now everything looks set as last weekend a big film from 3 major industries released. Bheemla Nayak from Tollywood , Valimai from Kollywood , Gangubai Kathiawadi from Bollywood hit the screens. All three films opened with superb talk and had a blockbuster weekend at box office. All the film fraternity, Distributors, Theatre owners, cinema fanatics are waiting for this day for a long time.
