In the Telugu industry, Trivikram is one of the biggest star directors and has his own fan base and brand. But somehow our big stars are hesitant at the moment to work with him for pan-India films. If it is only a Telugu language film then our stars do not have any issue. But right now every star is going for India films and they feel Trivikram’s work will be risky for pan India level.
Trivikram has been planning a pan-India film for a long time. A project was under discussion for the same with NTR who was supposed to work with Trivikram after RRR. Unfortunately, the project got shelved even before going to the sets. The ace director had also planned an action film with Mahesh first to which Mahesh had positively responded but after a few days, the actor expressed doubts and chose to do a family entertainer Guntur Kaaram.
While Guntur Kaaram was on set, a film with Allu Arjun was announced and it was going to be a big pan-India film with Trivrikam. But now, even Bunny has decided to go for other directors for his pan-India efforts.
It is clear now that tier 1 stars are not favoring Trivikram for pan-India Action, Mass, and fantasy films. Trivikram’s movies of late are dealing with family entertainment and emotions that the stars feel won’t be appealing on a national level.
