For Bhola Shankar, Megastar Chiranjeevi has reportedly taken a record remuneration of 70Cr, which made the total budget of the film close to 150Cr. Because of low buzz and it’s business not being done as per the expectations, the film was released in deficit and brought massive loss for the producers of the film.
Now it has influenced for other films as at this moment makers are not ready to give 70Cr remuneration to any star hero. To give a 70Cr remuneration the film needs to do bigger business like how tier 1 or big star films will be done, but Chiranjeevi’s films are not doing the business in that range.
Even his previous film Waltair Veerayya ‘s business was done for less than 100Cr. After Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy no Chiranjeevi film did even 90Cr pre business.
