Now, after appearing in 40 plus films she is venturing into the digital sphere for the first time with her upcoming web series Family Man2 . The actress is playing the character of Raji, a Tamil speaking rebel who’s the main antagonist. Samantha’s look from the show has shocked a lot of people and she garnered great applause for her transformation.
While Family Man 2 will be releasing in multiple languages, she hasn’t acted in films other than Telugu and Tamil. The ‘Majili’ actress was recently asked in a media interaction about why she hasn’t made a Bollywood debut yet.
“Because maybe I am scared? (laughs) The talent here is amazing. I am scared,” she answered. The actress also added that she would love to be paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor if given an option.
Family Man 2 will release on June 4th on Amazon Prime Video. The show’s trailer released recently and was well received by the audience. Samantha will be starring along with Manoj Bajpai and Priyamani in this spy thriller web series.
