Balakrishna’s Akhanda opened to terrific numbers at the box office on December 2nd, roaring through all records. Akhanda has now roared through yet another milestone.
The film has crossed the 50 CR share milestone within a week itself. This is Balakrishna’s highest collection of all time.
His previous best was 50CR with Gautami Putra Satakarni in 2017. However, it is also important to note that Gautami Putra Satakarni reached the 50 CR milestone after several weeks. Whereas, Akhanda has achieved this in just 6 days.
Akhanda has outperformed itself in terms of collections not only in AP and Telangana but also in the USA where it is close to the $1M milestone. It has already collected $800K, the highest ever collection for Balakrishna in the USA.
The film is holding well even on the weekdays, it has collected a decent amount on Monday, and is holding well.
This was an important film for both Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu, their previous films failing to impress the Telugu audience.
Akhanda however, has been loved by the Telugu audience.
