Balakrishna Movies Outperform Chiranjeevi Films for Satellite Partners

Tollywood heroes have now elevated their status to the next level. With a series of pan-India movies coming for all the stars, the budgets, theatrical rights, and overall money involved in filmmaking have grown multifold. Not to be left behind, senior stars like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are also going head to head-in terms of trade.

However, in turns of numbers, Balayya seems to have surprisingly edged past Chiranjeevi. Before Akhanda, Balakrishna was different and after Akhanda his market has grown significantly. After Akhanda, he continuously scored hit films in the form of Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari and is now signing crazy films too.

Producers prefer Balakrishna at the moment as his market is now much bigger than earlier and more importantly, he is taking very reasonable remuneration compared to Chiranjeevi’s. Balayya’s films are working well for Satellite partners as well.

Bhagavanth Kesari with 9.36, Veera Simha Reddy with 8.83, and Akhanda with 13.31 all three films delivered good TRP ratings on their Television premieres whereas Chiranjeevi’s recent films were in between 5-7 ratings. With Akhanda 2 coming up next along with a film with Bobby, we can expect greater numbers in terms of trade and rights in the coming days
