Both the movies have opened with the same kind of reviews from the audiences. The word of mouth from the audiences are above average to decent for both the films.
Dhanush’s Captain Miller is a slow-paced action film with a brilliant performance from Dhanush and the other lead cast along very excellent BGM by GV Prakash.
Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan has a good first half which is all about entertainment and emotions, and it worked very well. The second half of the film moves to action, and it has a few issues, but still, it was a manageable affair. The Music given by AR Rahman could have been better. The computer graphics are splendid and the visuals are also good.
So overall, Both the films delivered decent content and with the festival advantage, both films are expected to put big numbers as there are no big star films for this Pongal.
