After nearly 13 years since James Cameron released Avatar movie’s first part which went on to become the biggest movie of all time. He has spent a lot of time in the last decade making the world of Avatar world’s franchise, which includes four sequels, two of which are already completely done with their shooting.
The first of Avatar’s four sequels will release later this year, with the title Avatar: The Way of Water set to premiere in December in theaters. The movie places James Cameron back behind the camera and includes the returns of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang.
Disney released the first trailer for James Cameron’s highly anticipated blockbuster sequel earlier this year, as the Avatar 2 footage highlighted the film’s incredible visual effects. The trailer only gave viewers a tease of what the sequel’s story is about, though.
Much of Avatar: The Way of Water takes place underwater or near water as the sequel brings up another colony of Navi on Pandora. It is understood that the story also revolves around Jake Sully and Neytiri’s family. While much of this was teased in the first trailer, the teaser offered minimal dialogue and instead relied on the memories of seeing Pandora again.
Today, the Avatar: The Way of Water trailer has been released beforehand of the film’s theatrical premiere worldwide on December 16.
The official storyline of Avatar: The Way of Water is “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”
The movie has already a huge craze and with this trailer, the hype has gone to another level. We can expect a solo release in all industries with maximum screens. The film surely will open very big at the box office, Trade circles are expecting that the film will do 1000 crores gross at the Indian box office alone.
