Nikhil’s Pan-Indian project Karthikeya is in the final leg now. With only less than 2 weeks left for the release, the promotions are in full swing. This is Nikhil’s biggest and most ambitious project yet and there are a lot of expectations riding on it.
It is also the sequel to Nikhil’s previous super hit Karthikeya which took the box office by surprise. Nikhil has been quite unlucky due to the constant postponements in the release date but the film is just a few days away now.
During the promotions of Karthikeya 2, Nikhil spoke very highly of his co-actor Anupama Parameswaran. “She is very hard working and dedicated on the sets. But when I messaged her about the promotions of Karthikeya 2, she did not reply back.”
Anupama has now responded to Nikhil’s statement. This is what she had to say, “I just wanted to give some clarity on why I was not available for the promotions of Karthikeya 2. I have been continuously shooting day and night for two films, which have combination dates of other artists as well. Due to the constant change in the release date of Karthikeya 2, things are a little tight this side.”
She further added, “I am hoping that you all understand my difficulty. To my entire team, thank you for all the efforts you have put in. Especially to Nikhil, thank you for your extra efforts.”
Karthikeya 2 is releasing with decent hype and this is a very important film for Nikhil. He will be hoping that the sequel is equally successful. Karthikeya also stars Anupam Kher and Srinivas Reddy in important roles. Chandoo Mondeti is the director and it is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam as well as Kannada. It will hit the big screens on August 12th.
