Animal takes a Backseat to Gadar 2 at the Box Office. It is widely known that the latest film of Ranbir Kapoor, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has surpassed all expectations at the box office and is going at a superb constant pace in its run. However, the film needed to meet expectations regarding its second Sunday numbers.

The trade expected the film Animal to collect more than Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 on Sunday, December 11th. Gadar 2 created all records on 2nd weekend for the Hindi version in India. Animal takes a Backseat to Gadar 2 at the Box Office.

However, on Sunday, the movie failed to beat Gadar 2’s number and fell short of it.  Gadar 2 had a perfect jump on Sunday and collected 39Cr net, but Animal did not take much jump, and the estimates are around 34Cr net. Thereby, Ranbir Kapoor’s action drama failed to beat the 2nd Sunday collections of Sunny Deol’s patriotic drama. For the 2nd weekend’s highest collections, Gadar 2 is the record holder as the Sunday margin is high for the film.
