In the film industry, no matter how much experience you have, the mistakes are bound to happen and repeat often. That being said, many heroes, directors, and producers make the same mistake in. choices of films are putting huge money without proper planning. The same has now happened with producer Anil Sunkara. We know that his film with Akhil Akkineni, Agent, was a terrible disaster at the box office.

Not selling the movie, Agent to the distributors and releasing the film on his own in most of the territories was a mistake done by Anil Sunkara. But he did not learn from his mistake and he repeated the same for his latest film, Bhola Shankar, which starred Megastar Chiranjeevi.

A Producer always needs proper calculations of a film’s budget. Especially when they are doing films with big stars, even if the movie fails, they will be in the profit zone because of right calculations, but Anil Sunkara is failing continuously doing so, and he is losing crores of money because of this. He should understand and take care of the combo of the film which he is making, and he should also be aware of the demand in the market.

If he had quoted reasonable prices for Bhola Shankar he could have gathered money in at least some areas and had been in a safer place. But he quoted bigger prices and buyers were not interested, so he released the film on his own, and now he lost everything. The same mistake he did with Akhil Akkineni’s Agent.

He first sold the film’s rights to Gayatri films for 30Cr but at the last minute due to some discussions and negotiations in which he was involved and did the business on his own and lost everything. After that, the Agent film’s distributor approached the court for that compensation. Though the case was cancelled by the court, Anil Sunkara had to face severe bad name because of the issue.
