Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer F3 released late last month and as expected opened to good occupancies and had a terrific first weekend. However, after that the film has seen a slump and has not been successful in attracting crowds. The film also stars Tamannah and Mehreen who are returning to their roles from the previous installment.
F3 has broken Anil Ravipudi’s successful streak at the box office that started with Pataas in 2015. Since then all his movies like Supreme, Raja The Great, F2, Sarileru Neekevvaru have all been massive successes.
Apart from the debacle of F3, reports also emerged of a rift between the film’s lead actress Tamannah and the director. During the shoot, the news went viral that all is not well between the two. Anil Ravipudi responded to this matter and said that he had requested the actress for a call sheet extension by a few days. The actress was unable to honour this request and the next 2-3 days of shooting went on in a pretty serious manner.
However, Tamannah and Anil Ravipudi have now settled their differences. The issue has now been resolved and the two are back on friendly terms.
