Naga Chaitanya on Friday took his fans by surprise by sharing a picture with Amir Khan from the sets of Amir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha. The movie, which is a remake of 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump will see Amir reprising Tom Hanks role.
Naga Chaitanya joined the shooting of the film earlier this week in Laddakh. Laal Singh Chaddha will mark his Hindi film debut. Vijay Sethupathi was initially signed on to portray the role but walked out due to dates issue.
Aamir Khan also welcomed Naga Chaitanya to the film with a social media post. The Amir Khan Productions handle shared the picture with Naga Chaitanya, Aamir, Kiran Rao, and director Advait Chandan.
“Welcome Bala, stealer of hearts, you have already stolen ours. Love Kiran & Aamir,” was the post made by the production house welcoming the young actor to Bollywood.
Naga Chaitanya is currently gearing up for the release of his next film ‘Love Story’ alongside Sai Pallavi. He is also currently shooting for Vikram K Kumar’s ‘Thank You’ along with Rashi Khanna and the film is in its final stages.
