Allu Arjun – Trivikram is a successful collaboration and the duo has given Julayi, which was a super hit, Son of Satyamurthy, which was a decent success, and Ala Vaikunthapuuramuloo, which became a non-Baahubali industry hit. Last year, Allu Arjun officially announced that he would be collaborating with Trivikram for the next film.
Even after announcing a film with Trivikram, Allu Arjun met multiple directors for collaborations. His team said that the Trivikram project’s pre-production will take around 12-15 months and in this gap, Allu Arjun wants to complete a film. But in reality, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 shooting is still ongoing and will go on till June. And if these schedules get delayed any further then Pushpa 2 may also not be released as scheduled in August month and if schedules are taking more time the movie is likely to be postponed and will be on sets longer than expected.
Whenever Pushpa 2 shooting ends, its pan-India promotions will begin and ideally Trivikram could have completed his pre-production work. But Allu Arjun wants a combo that has a pan-India appeal which is why he is putting the ace director aside and breaking the promise. He has officially stated that he has not confirmed any project so far.
He made this statement at the Berlin Film Festival where answering about his upcoming projects he said nothing has been finalized yet and there are promising projects in development that are expected to be on an epic scale. I am determined to maintain the level of ambition and success achieved with “Pushpa” and aim to uphold that standard in their future endeavors.” This statement could mean only one thing- either the Trivikram project is officially postponed or shelved.
