Salaar’s postponement from 28th September brought forth major changes in release dates for other films across all industries. Multiple films have changed their release date, and even the overseas distributors for Salaar had to make heavy last-minute adjustments as the premiers were called off. Now there are reports of Salaar arriving on December 22nd making the situation complicated for the makers of Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Nani’s Hi Nanna and other Sankranti releases.

While the Salaar release date has not been announced officially, the makers of Sankranti releases have now become proactive and asserting their presence. The idea behind this announcements is to state they are not moving their release for anyone.

As Salaar is reportedly coming for Christmas, some Christmas releases are planning for Sankranthi release and they are hoping the current Sankranthi releases will be postponed. So the makers of these existing Sankranti releases are reconfirming the release date again. Vijay Devarakonda’s VD13 makers Sri Venkateswara Creations updated the same today that 50% shoot is wrapped up and they will release it on Sankranti.
