Akhil Akkineni has received a big setback in the form of Agent. The young actor put much effort into this movie and underwent a massive physical transformation. While he received some applause for his transformation, the movie’s narration and screenplay were badly panned by audiences and critics alike. Agent was in the making for 2 years and saw several postponements and after all these delays, the audience straight out rejected the film on its release. This is obviously a big setback for Akhil and he is eager to prove his mettle at the box office.
Akhil has signed up for his next project and just like Agent, it will be a big-budget affair this time as well. The film is being directed by Anil Kumar who worked as an associate director and writer on Prabhas’ Saaho. This project will be bankrolled by UV Creations and after a series of debacles, all eyes are on this project.
The film’s pre-production works are going on currently and an official announcement will be made soon. Akhil 6 will be a fantasy drama and it will be interesting to see how this genre works out for the actor.
