Akhil Akkineni is eagerly looking to break his flop streak and score a hit with Most Eligible Bachelor. The romantic drama which has been in making for quite some time now was looking for a release earlier this year before the pandemic spoiled the plans.
According to the latest reports, the makers of Most Eligible Bachelor, GA2 Pictures are going to release the movie digitally. The production house reportedly got a lucrative deal from an OTT platform and is considering the possibility. Producer Bunny Vas had earlier mentioned that if the situation doesn’t ease out soon then he might go for a direct OTT release. That seems to be the situation right now with confusion still persisting with theatres.
Bommarillu Bhaskar is directing this movie and Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma are bankrolling this project under GA2 pictures. Gopi Sunder has scored the music for the film and the songs released till now are already performing great. Pooja Hegde will be starring opposite Akhil for the first time in the film.
Meanwhile, Akhil is also gearing up for his upcoming film Agent. Directed by Surender Reddy, Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal will be playing a key role in this spy thriller.
