Akhil’s Spy Action Thriller Agent was released on worldwide screens this Friday. Akhil and his fans had massive hopes on the film’s result, but Agent has disappointed everyone and became the biggest disaster in Akhil’s Career. After receiving a terrible response from the audience, the film completely collapsed at the box office. Now the latest reports have at it that the film is on the way to making its OTT debut.
The digital streaming rights of Agent have been acquired by one of the leading digital platforms, SonyLIV. Normally, the recent Telugu Movies are streaming on OTT after 3/4 weeks of the theatrical release. However, as Agent has become a terrible disaster at the box office, it might arrive at OTT within the next two weeks.
The movie tells us the story of Ricky (Akhil), who is very passionate and a wild spirit who wants to be a raw agent from childhood due to an incident. Mahadev (Mammootty) scouts and takes Ricky under his wing and handpick him to get the best of a rogue ex-agent Devil (Dino Morea). A straightforward mission goes haywire and Ricky is now the target. How Ricky solves this problem and how he serves his nation is what the story is all about.
Agent has been produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, with Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy, performed as executive producers. The film has been edited by National Award winner Naveen Noolii while Rasool Ellore cranked the camera. Malayalam Megastar Mammootty and Bollywood Actor Dino Morea appeared in key roles in the movie. Sakshi Vaidya is the female lead and Hip-hop Tamizha is the music director of the film.
