Akhil Akkineni’s spy action thriller Agent is all set to create a storm in theaters from 28th April. Ahead of the release, Akhil participated in the interviews with media in which he revealed many interesting things about the movie.
As per Akhil, the idea of Agent had started during the first lockdown. He said he likes action movies and wanted to do one such film on a large scale. Akhil stated that he was not getting that complete satisfaction until Most Eligible Bachelor (I am not demeaning other films, he said). Most Eligible Bachelor gave him more acceptance in the audience, but he badly wanted to do an action flick.
Akhil stated that because he hasn’t done something like this before and his character in Agent should behave like a monkey, which means it should be lively and spirited. Akhil further informed that he plays a character called Rikki, who is very wild and deals in unexpected ways. He is unpredictable, like a wild monkey. He brings humor even in serious action scenes.
Moreover, Akhil went on to say that Agent is not completely driven by the hero’s character. There will be an intense drama between the three characters, and more importantly, every character will have respect. He assured that Agent will give a new experience to the audience as it involves international spy problems.
Agent has been produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, with Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy, performed as executive producers. The film has been edited by National Award winner Naveen Noolii while Rasool Ellore cranked the camera. Malayalam Megastar Mammootty and Bollywood Actor Dino Morea will appear in key roles in the movie. Sakshi Vaidya is the female lead and Hip-hop Tamizha is the music director of the film.
