Balakrishna’s Akhanda is one film that has successfully generated massive hype before its release. The domestic pre-release business has been on fire with the numbers making it Balakrishna’s best pre-release ever.
However, what’s shocking is that the film is doing equally good overseas trade. This has turned out to be a pleasant surprise to the team. Usually, Boyapati’s films perform slowly in the overseas market and are not exactly known to set the box-office on fire. Similarly, Balayya’s following in the overseas market is relatively smaller compared to other heroes.
The Australia Imax located in Melbourne which is one of the largest screens in the world got sold within minutes of opening. The buzz in UK and US markets has also been quite strong much to surprise of industry experts. The film needs to collect around $900k in overseas market to end up as a profitable venture for the distributors.
The movie is all set to release on 2nd December and recently completed all censor formalities. The action entertainer has an ensemble cast of Srikanth, Jagapathy Babu and Purna and will have Pragya Jaiswal in lead role opposite Balakrishna
