Tollywood Actor Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu collaborated for their much-awaited sequel, Akhanda 2. The prequel, Akhanda became a big blockbuster grossing nearly 120 crores worldwide. The sequel took off recently with a pooja ceremony attended by the lead cast and crew members. Now, it is learned that Aadhi Pinisetty came on board the film for the antagonist role.
Director Boyapati Srinu and Aadhi Pinisetty have shared a good rapport since their film, Sarrainodu where the latter played a powerful antagonist role. His role is also poised to be the same in Akhanda 2 as per sources. The film is also being made on a huge scale budget, making it Balakrishna’s biggest. The Actor is currently riding high with the success of his recent film, Daaku Maharaaj.
The team is also eyeing a big result at the box office with the strong expectations from fans and Audience. Balakrishna will be reprising the role of Aghora again in the sequel. The film may see the release in the month of September this year.
