After the release of ‘Thunivu’ there were a lot of expectations over Ajith’s next project. The Kollywood star immediately signed his next ‘Vidaamuyarchi’. But, due to various reasons, the project ran into various delays including the exit of Vignesh Shivan who was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni. The unit started the film with a long outdoor shoot in Azerbaijan.
So far, 60% of the Vidaamuyarchi shoot has been completed and the shooting will resume on April 20th in Azerbaijan as soon as the elections complete. The makers are planning to release the film in October and there are massive expectations on this project. Anirudh will be scoring the music for this action entertainer and the team is waiting for him to compose the tunes so that the songs can be shot.
Ajith and Trisha play the main roles in ‘Vidaamuyarchi, where Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Das, Arav, and Regina Cassandra play key roles. The team has been staying in Azerbaijan for an extended period. Vidaamuyarchi continues the ‘V’ sentiment of Ajith; out of his last ten films, six of them have been titled with the letter ‘V.’
