Ajith Kumar’s much-awaited film Valimai is releasing as per the plan? Valimai is the most anticipated Tamil film in a long time.
There were concerns previously regarding the release date of the film due to the recent spread of Omicron. A lot of biggies from Tollywood like RRR and Radhe Shyam have backed down from the Sankranthi release due to fear of poor collections.
There are currently a lot of positive signs for the film. The Tamil Nadu government has not shut down the theatres, favoring a release. Even though there are 50% occupancy restrictions in theatres the makers have gone forward with the release.
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Master was also released during Pongal 2021 with 50% restrictions and became the all-time highest grosser for a Tamil film in Tamil Nadu. Hence, the makers are confident that Ajith will also pull the masses into the theatres.
With RRR and Radhe Shyam also out of the race, Valimai will have no competition and is sure to rake in massive collections.
The film also stars Telugu actor Karthikeya, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu among others. H. Vinoth is the director of the film, and Boney Kapoor has bankrolled the project. Valimai is all set to release on January 13th,2022.
