Aishwarya Rai looked etheral in the first look poster of movie PS1. Ponniyin Selvan is a periodic drama shot under Mani Ratnam’s direction. This is the fourth film of Aishwarya Rai under movie maverick Mani’s direction.
She debuted with his film Irruvar and later went on to do two more films with him- Guru and Ravvanan. The actress looks surreal in this new poster where we can see her as Queen of Pazhuvoor.
PS1 team has released posters of Vikram and Karthi earlier this week but none of these posters grabbed as many eye balls as Aishwarya’s did. This poster is the talk of the town now. As per the reports, Aishwarya is doing a dual role in this movie. We can see her as the queen of Pazhuvoor and another character is Mandakini Devi.
Ponniyin Selvan is the first Tamil movie that is going to be released across India. The movie is going to release in five languages- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. It will have two parts and the first part will hit screens on September 30, 2022.
PS1 is a star-studded film with Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Rahman, Jayaram, Shobhitha Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi. Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions are producing this movie and the budget is around 500 crores.
