As said above, the producers and buyers of Agent faced heavy losses. As the film failed to pull audiences into theaters, many audiences awaited the OTT release as it was a Surender Reddy – Akhil’s film. However, the film’s OTT release was delayed for multiple reasons.
Sony LIV has bought the movie’s digital rights, and they have even given an official announcement about the film’s streaming; still, due to financial and some other unknown reasons, the streaming was continuously postponed, and after a long time, the streaming news buzz again started to spread on social media.
The latest buzz in social media suggests that the movie Agent will stream on OTT from 26th January on Sony LIV, but there has yet to be an official announcement from the Digital Platform. We must wait and see to know whether the film will make it to OTT streaming this time or will continue to be postponed.
