Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut has been in the news for the past few months due to his latest movie Adipurush. But now he is in the news for getting a luxury car as a gift.
Young rebel star Prabhas and director Om Raut teamed up for a mythological film “Adipurush”. This movie is being made in the background of the Ramayana epic. Bhushan Kumar produced this movie with a huge budget under the T-series banner.
But the latest news is that producer Bhushan Kumar gave Om Raut an expensive gift of a Ferrari F8 Tributo which is worth Rs.4.02 crores. It was gifted to the ‘Adipurush’ director because the producer was extremely happy with the output of the movie.
Bhushan Kumar has gifted costly cars to many people in the past. In the wake of the super hit of the movie ‘Bhool Bhoolaiya-2 earlier this year, hero Karthik Aryan also was gifted an orange McLaren worth Rs.4.70 crores.
Meanwhile, controversy is pouring in around the film ‘Adipurush’ since its teaser has been released. The movie has been ambitiously shot using motion capture technology at the Pan-India level.
But when the team recently released their teaser, there have been trolls on a large scale saying that the VFX work is very poor and not at the required level for such a big-budgeted movie.
On the other hand, many political leaders and Hindu leaders have raised objections that the portrayal of characters is meant to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Owing to this back clash, a boycott trend has also been run on Adipurush movie on social media.
However, director Om Raut explained that all this was done as part of an effort to tell the story of Ramayana in a way that today’s youth can understand and suit their taste. He said that this film was shot for the big screen. It will be different to watch on mobile phones.
And to prove their words right, the team arranged a special premiere of a 3D teaser of ‘Adipurush’ in theatres. The 3D teaser got an unexpectedly positive response.
Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Ravan, Sunny Singh as Laxman will be seen in this movie.
The film will be released on January 12, 2022, on the occasion of the Sankranti festival. The makers are gearing up to release it in Hindi Telugu Tamil Malayalam Kannada languages in IMAX – 3D formats.
