In a surprising twist of events, actress Tamannaah Bhatia confirms her relationship with Bollywood Vijay Varma , putting an end to the rumors which were being spread for months. The couple, who will be seen together for the first time in the anthology film Lust Stories 2, admitted that their love story began on the sets of the film directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh.
Rumors of Tamannaah and Vijay being a couple had been doing the rounds for many days, especially after a video of them allegedly kissing at a New Year’s party in Goa spread. Despite being seen together in public, both of them remained silent about their relationship. In an earlier interview with the media, Tamannaah had rubbished the rumors, saying, “Such rumors go on and on. It is not necessary to clarify all of them. I have nothing more to say about it.”
However, in a recent interview, Tamannaah said that she becoming attracted towards someone simply because they are a co-star is improbable. She has worked with many co-stars and believes that if someone develops feelings for another person, it is a personal issue and not related to his profession. In other words, the reason for developing feelings for a person cannot be based on his profession alone.
When asked if their relationship changed while filming Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah confessed their relationship and said, “Yes.” Talking about Vijay Varma, she added, “He is someone I really look up to. He’s someone I’ve developed a very, very organic relationship with. With high-achieving women, we have this problem, that we think we have to work hard for everything. When something is so simple, and you don’t have to walk on eggshells to just be yourself because I think in India we also have this that a woman has to change her entire life for someone… He’s a person who I care about deeply and yeah, he’s my happy place.”
