Actress Samantha apologies to Vijay Devarakonda fans for Kushi delay

Samantha Ruth Prabhu said she will soon restart shoot of her forthcoming Telugu romantic film Kushi, in which they paired her against Vijay Devarakonda. Last year, Samantha had to pause all her work commitments as she was going through treatment for myositis.

Star Heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Wednesday took to Twitter to share an update on her upcoming Telugu romantic drama Kushi, co-starring Vijay Devarakonda. While replying to a question from a fan of Vijay Devarakonda, Samantha said that the film’s shoot will resume soon, and she also apologized to Vijay Deverakonda’s fans.

Kushi marks the second collaboration of Samantha and Vijay after Mahanati, in which they were paired opposite each other.

At first Kushi was planned for 2022 Christmas release later, it got postponed to February and now it is again postponed to summer only because of Samantha’s health issues. Now Samantha has recovered, and yet, she has to allot the dates for the movie. There have been many rumors that Samantha is not giving the dates for Kushi movie. However today she denied the rumors with her clarification tweet.

Samantha was last seen on screen in Telugu action-thriller Yashoda. In the film, Samantha played a surrogate mother who is on a mission to catch a criminal gang of members who are disguised as doctors. The film turned out to be a decent hit at the box office, though it had a drastic drop in the collections after the first weekend.
