Actor Vijay Varma roped in for Suriya’s film as the main antagonist

In 2020, Suriya and Sudha Kongara collaborated on the national award-winning film Soorarai Pottru for the first time. The film was released solely on OTT due to COVID-19 and received much appreciation from the viewers. Now the actor and director are set to work again and the most interesting thing is Actor Vijay Varma is roped in to play the main antagonist role.

For the second time, Suriya and Sudha Kongara will work together on an untitled film produced by 2D Entertainment, three years after the success of Soorarai Pottru. Along with Suriya, Malayalam Star Dulquer Salmaan is expected to be featured in an important role in the yet-untitled film, according to media reports.

Now, the latest news is that the Sudha Kongara’s untitled project will have Vijay Varma as the antagonist in the cast. In films like Darlings, Dahaad, Pink, Gully Boy, Super 30, and more recently, Lust Stories 2, Vijay Varma proved himself as an exceptional actor. His work has been highly praised and has drawn the attention of directors and producers for Pan-India projects. Suriya’s next film under Sudha direction will be Vijay Verma’s first Pan India film.

The nature of Vijay’s character is not known, but it is certain that he will play a villain in the film. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. Sudha has reportedly finished most of her work on the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, starring Akshay Kumar, and is now ready to start work on her next movie. As per the reports, the preparations have started and the film is expected to start production in November 2023.

Before starting work on the untitled Sudha Kongara project, Suriya will finish working on Siruthai Siva’s Kanguva. It is also said that the actor has agreed to take part in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna, which will start production next year.
