Almost after a 3-year gap, Bollywood star actor Aamir Khan released a movie in theaters, i.e., Sitaare Zameen Par. The film received good reviews from everyone. Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is racing towards 300 Cr.
Aamir’s last two films, Thugs of Hindostan and Lal Singh Chaddha, were huge disasters. So, the actor took time and came up with a moderate budget and strong content film, Sitaare Zameen Par.
The film did not carry much buzz before release, but it received positive WOM and gathered good collections for the 1st week. The good thing is, the film held well on the 2nd weekend as well and collected 34 Cr net.
The total India net collections of the film for 10 days stand at 122 Cr and gross is 145 Cr. If we add overseas numbers (51 Cr), then the total worldwide gross will be 196 Cr.
The film will join the 200 Cr club today, and it is expected to have a good run for another 2 weeks at least.
Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is racing towards 300 Cr, and even the trade believes it has high chances to collect that number in its full run. This is a very good collection/number considering the movie’s budget.
Overall, the emotional sports drama emerged as a successful film.
