Aadarsha Kutumbam 1st Week Box Office: Heading for Big Losses

Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas' Aadarsha Kutumbam 1st Week collections confirm that it will not achieve break even at the box office.

Aadarsha Kutumbam has wrapped up a poor first week at the box office. The Venkatesh and Trivikram film has collected around ₹65 Cr gross worldwide in seven days, and it is now heading for a loss-making run.

Aadarsha Kutumbam 1st Week Box Office (Gross)

  • Telangana: ₹19 Cr
  • Andhra Pradesh: ₹22 Cr
  • Karnataka: ₹5.75 Cr
  • Rest of India: ₹2.1 Cr
  • Total India: ₹48.85 Cr
  • Overseas: ₹16 Cr
  • Worldwide Total: ₹65 Cr (approx.)

A Poor First Week

For a combination like Venkatesh and Trivikram, a first week of ₹65 Cr gross is very disappointing. The film opened below expectations, saw a big drop from Monday, and never recovered.

Andhra Pradesh has been its best market with ₹22 Cr, followed by Telangana with ₹19 Cr. Together, the Telugu states have brought in ₹41 Cr gross. Overseas has added ₹16 Cr.

Only Half Recovered

Aadarsha Kutumbam needs around ₹125 Cr gross worldwide to break even. After the first week, it has recovered only about 52% of that.

Aadarsha Kutumbam Recovery Status

  • Break-Even Target: ₹125 Cr
  • 1st Week Gross: ₹65 Cr
  • Recovery: Around 52%

Struggling to Reach ₹100 Cr

The road ahead looks even tougher. The film is now expected to struggle to reach even ₹100 Cr gross in its full run, and it is likely to close below ₹80 Cr.

Ramayana and Suriya’s Scene have just arrived in theatres, taking away screens and audiences during the Diwali weekend. That leaves Aadarsha Kutumbam with very little room to grow.

A Loss Venture for All

With a final gross likely under ₹80 Cr, against a ₹125 Cr break-even, Aadarsha Kutumbam is set to be a loss-making venture for all the parties involved, including the distributors and exhibitors.

It’s a big setback for the Venkatesh and Trivikram combination, which had carried huge hopes going into release.
