Das Ka Dhamki released today amidst great expectations and a festive advantage. While the advance booking trends have been encouraging, walk-ins are also expected to be good in the later part of the considering it’s a holiday.
Amidst the worldwide release of the film, a bizarre incident has come to light regarding the screening of this Vishwak Sen starter. In Vizag, Sukanya theatre started playing Dhamaka instead of Das Ka Dhamki during its morning show. The crowd soon realized what was happening and the management had to switch to the correct movie after a huge uproar from the crowd.
The management stated that similar-sounding names created confusion which is why they played Dhamaka by mistake and screened Das Ka Dhamki. Interestingly, both the films have similar-sounding core plots and many people had pointed it out in the past as well. Another very interesting fact about these movies is that they both are written by the same writer- Prasanna Kumar Bezawada.
