The Censor Board rejected Vyooham, giving a big shock to RGV. Ram Gopal Varma, who has a history of controversy, often openly supports AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and has also produced films against YSRCP opponents. He is currently making Vyooham, which came under the Censor’s radar as a propaganda film that aims to insult Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and other opponents of YSRCP.

The Hyderabad CBFC rejected the censor certificate for this film, which was a significant shock to RGV. Vyooham has now been sent to the revision board for further scrutiny, which would mean that the film getting censor clearance would become much leaner now with the rejection from the board.

A complaint letter was also filed against Vyooham and CBFC member Jeevitha Rajasekhar, who happens to be a member of YSRCP. So the complaint was she could not gauge the political intention behind this film and requested she be expelled from the board.

The Telangana elections are approaching, so politically motivated films like this cannot be released now. The movie is planned in two parts.

RGV had planned the film in two parts. Vyooham, the first part to be released on November 10th. Part two, Shapadham, will be released on January 25 th, 2024. He even released the trailer and songs and made all the plans to release the film on 10th November, but a big shock came in front of RGV, as the Censor Board is said to have rejected it because of its propaganda content.
