Vijay’s dilemma on selecting a director for his next film is creating a big drama in Kollywood. Apparently, it was reported that Telugu Director Gopichand will be directing Vijay on the actor’s 68th project, i.e., Thalapathy 68 [tentative title]. According to the reports, Vijay was to begin this film immediately after his ongoing Leo with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and reports strongly recommended that the movie will be produced by not one but two production banners, i.e., Super Good Films and Mythri Movie Makers.
Thalapathy 68 was initially reported to be directed by Atlee, which made his fans happy as this combo has a successful track record with scoring 3 blockbusters. However, the film did not materialize and it was said that Atlee’s project will be made as Vijay’s 69th film, with Sun Pictures being the production house and Anirudh composing the music.
