2024 is a tough year for Bollywood. Bollywood has seen many struggles in recent years, but it gave a solid comeback in 2023 With films producing huge numbers at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan scored massive blockbusters with Pathaan, Jawan and set new milestones. Jawan ended up as the biggest Indian Grosser of 2023. His third film, Dunki, is now running in theaters.
Also, Ranbir Kapoor scored a massive blockbuster with Animal, Sunny Deol delivered surprise blockbuster with Gadar 2 and put massive numbers. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 opened with huge numbers, but did not work well after Diwali festival days.
Ranveer singh also tasted success with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023. All these stars have put excellent box office numbers in 2023, but in 2024 there are no releases from these stars. Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh , Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol all these stars will not have any release in 2024.
That is why 2024 will be a tough year for Bollywood without these big stars films. Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devagn, Akshay Kumar are the only stars who have lined up releases and other dubbed films have to work big for Bollywood in this year to be on top.
Fighter and Singham Again – Big hope for Bollywood Trade
Directed by Sidharth Anand, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The film also features Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Shaikh. Presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, Fighter promises adrenaline-pumping action. In Fighter, Hrithik stars as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky, fighting for the country. The film will hit theaters on January 25, 2024.
Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. It is the third installment of the super-hit franchise and is all set to hit theaters on the occasion of Independence Day 2024. Singham was released in 2011, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles, followed by Singham Returns in 2014. Both projects were declared box office hits.
