Prabhas, the biggest superstar of Indian cinema, has recently completed 20 years in the film industry. He made his debut as the protagonist in Jayanth C Paranjee’s film Eeshwar and the rest is just history. He has grown beyond everyone’s expectations and risen to a pan-Indian star today, which none would have imagined and believed when he entered the industry.
With Baahubali’s massive success, Prabhas did get worldwide recognition and popularity. However, it isn’t completely fair to solely credit Prabhas’ popularity to just this one film as he was already a superstar in making in the Telugu Film Industry. Fondly called Darling, his movies like Billa, Mr. Perfect, and Mirchi made records at the box office and fans went gaga over them.
But after the humongous success of the Bahubali series, Prabhas hasn’t been able to impress the audience with his movies or career planning. The audience is complaining that Prabhas is picking the wrong scripts. For every movie, he also tries to get that Hindi and Pan India look which is not possible with every movie.
Prabhas has back 2 back disasters with Saaho and Radhe Shyam, Saaho managed to put in good numbers but Radhe Shyam has failed miserably at Box Office.
Prabhas is now going to release 3 films in 2023 expectedly, it will be very rare for any star hero in these times to release 3 films in a year. Adipurush is slated for Sankranthi release, Salaar movie is planned for a summer release and Maruthi film is expected to release in the last quarter of 2023. With these 3 movies, Prabhas needs to prove himself at the box office by delivering back 2 back superhits and claiming his stardom.
After these 3 movies, Prabhas has another mammoth project which would be made by the director Nag Ashwin and produced by the star producer Ashwini Dutt.
