2023 has been a mixed-bag kind of year for Mega Heroes. While the First half was a blockbuster, the Second half was a disaster for them. They started with massive success at the start of the year, but by the end, they faced several losses too. With Waltair Veerayya, Megastar Chiranjeevi has given a blockbuster treat to mega fans and audiences. He provides a solid comeback after failures like Acharya and Godfather, and with Waltair Veerayya, he puts excellent numbers at the box office. 2023 has been a mixed-bag kind of year for Mega Heroes. After Chiranjeevi, his nephew Sai Dharam Tej continued the success streak with the mystical blockbuster Virupaksha. Because of these two successes, mega films had a blockbuster start in the first half of 2023. However, in the second half, Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s Bro The Avatar disappointed a lot, and that [hase continued with Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar, which was an utter disappointment as even fans did not go to watch the film in theatres.
Mega Prince Varun Tej also saw a big disaster with Gandeevadhari Arjuna, and Vaishnav Tej delivered a miserable disaster with Aadikeshava. Re-releases of Gudumba Shankar and Shankar Dada MBBS did not work. The second half of 2023 was ultimately disappointing and disastrous for mega fans. Also, there were no films by Allu Arjun and Ram Charan this year.
